You will never be alone on our course, as the local kangaroos, emus, goats, and even the occasional turtle (yes, turtle!) calmly watch on, watch out for the occasional Echidna.
Golf Broken Hill Inc runs the game of golf on this course. All of your equipment and refreshment needs can be taken care of at our golf shop.
Whether it's organising a game of golf, golf equipment, hiring a motorised cart, or placing a custom club order (we'll do our best to beat any other price you can find!), We'll go out of our way to help you out. The golf shop staff are happy to help with any queries.
The top floor Club house is available to hire for Functions including weddings, and special events call 08 8087 9099 to book. There is a range of drink packages available, and can be tailored to suit your needs. Golf Broken Hill Inc is able to provide referrals to caterers and other businesses, the golf shop staff can ably assist

Gaynor Holliday
President
Gaynor has been a Board Member since 2004, during that time was responsible for Marketing and Promotions, collating the Programme Book and seeking sponsorship, also overseeing major club events. In 2014 Gaynor took on the role as Vice President and then Acting President in September 2015, then elected as President in November 2015. Gaynor has extensive golfing knowledge being a past Captain for many years, also instrumental in bringing two SA State Salver events to the Silver City. Gaynor has extensive legislative and governance knowledge
John Bennett
Company Treasurer
John is an inaugural Board member from 2001, and has held many positions, the latest being Club Treasurer and does an outstanding job. John's background is an Engineer and worked on the North Mine, John also establish a computing company called Edgnett - John has extensive knowledge in computers and is the go to man for the handicapping system. John is the backbone of the golf club and his expertise in many areas is outstanding. John is heavily involved within our local community, and is a Life Member of the Golf Club
Adrian Rouse
Finance and Staff
Adrian brings to the Board many years experience in the retail and mining sectors. Adrian assisted running the family business for many years overseeing large staff numbers, and ensuring that the retail side was carried out, in a professional manner. Adrian oversaw the operations of a local mining company, ensuring legislation and work health and safety practices were adhered to. Adrian has previously been a board member, taking on the role again in 2019. Adrian brings a wealth or corporate and governance knowledge to the Board
Adrian McDonald
Board Member - Financials, Marketing
Adrian brings a wealth of knowledge in the business retail/club area, Adrian has a strong understanding of legislation requirements in regards to Financial administration. Adrian has been a board member for a number of years and brings a different perspective to the board being one of our younger members
Steve Tucker
Board Member - Course Maintenance
Steve has a wealth of knowledge in the building and trades area, successfully running his own business for many years. Steve's knowledge of Building Codes and Standards, is an asset for the club. Steve is a Past President of the golf club and has a passion for course maintenance
Judy Edgecumbe
Board Member - Catering, Functions, Cook Your Own BBQ
Judy has a vast golfing knowledge, being a Past Ladies Captain and involved with the ladies committee for many years, Judy played her early golf at South Broken Hill Golf Club. Judy joined the Board in November 2019 and is keen to be involved in the Functions, Catering, Cook Your Own BBQ's areas of the club
Don Crittenden
Board Member - Volunteer Co-ordinator
Don in his previous work life was a pilot, and successfully run Crittenden Air Services for many years. Don is heavily involved with the Veterans Golf Club and is instrumental in bringing the NSW Veterans Week of Golf to the Silver City annually. Don is the Volunteer Co-ordinator and will oversee volunteering on the golf course
Michael Baldwin
Board Member, Marketing and Promotions
Michael joined the Board in November 2019, and brings an extensive business knowledge to the committee. Michael was the owner of the Northern Hotel for many years and is currently the owner of Red Earth Accommodation. Michael has extensive knowledge in marketing and promotions. Michael is a keen golfer
